OLVI PLC CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD HEIKKI HORTLING DECEASED

Long-time Chairman of the Board of Olvi plc, Heikki Hortling, Honorary Industrial Counsellor, M.Sc. (Econ), passed away unexpectedly at home in Iisalmi on Sunday, 10 April 2016.

Heikki Hortling served as Chairman of Olvi plc’s Board of Directors since 1998. He was Vice Chairman of the Board from 1987 to 1997. Prior to that, he managed the company’s materials and procurement operations.    

At present, the Vice Chairman of Olvi plc’s Board of Directors is Esa Lager, LL.M., M.Sc. (Econ). He has been a member of Olvi plc’s Board of Directors since 2002.

The members of the Board of Directors will be elected at Olvi plc’s Annual General Meeting on 14 April 2016. The Board of Directors will convene to an organising meeting immediately after the AGM and elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman from amongst the members.
