A. RYALS MCMULLIAN / President and Chief Executive Officer of Flowers Foods, Inc. Mr. McMullian has extensive leadership, operational and financial experience that he has acquired through multiple leadership positions held during his 20 years with the company. Mr. McMullian, age 53, was elected president and chief executive officer effective May 2019 and was elected to the board of directors in August 2019. He served as chief operating officer from June 2018 until May 2019 and as chief strategy officer from May 2017 until June 2018. Prior to that, Mr. McMullian served as vice president of mergers and acquisitions and deputy general counsel from 2015 until 2017, and vice president and associate general counsel from 2011 until 2015. He joined the company in 2003 as associate general counsel. He holds a master’s degree in business administration, a juris doctor, and a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Florida State University. |
